Hey everyone! I'm Manish (aka, Mr. Idiot ). I've been investing for over two decades, and my biggest secret? Follow the long term vision, Build a foundation on solid principles and a history of success. Don't be distracted by the noise of the day, whether it's crypto or the latest geopolitical event. Focus on the long game, even if it means being labeled as Mr. Idiot.
I started my job in the year 2003, and suddenly, everyone was a stock guru during their coffee breaks. "Up! Down! Gloom! Sunshine!" they'd chant, like some kind of Wall Street weather forecast. Mesmerized, I decided to join the party. Business channels became my new best friend, newspapers my bible. Suddenly, I was Mr. Cool, spouting investment wisdom like I knew what I was talking about. My boss? He just smiled. Probably because he was witnessing the birth of a financial genius. I am Mr. Cool.
After some period, my project changed so I moved to different project. But few of us including my first boss we used meet over a lunch once in a while to discuss our good old days you know. But I never expected this will happen.
One day, I couldn't find my boss on Skype (remember those days?). Panic set in. I called, fearing the worst. "Have you...resigned?" I stammered. He said yes, I have Resigned to Retire. Retired?! At thirty-eight? My brain couldn't process. "I set to retire financially," he said. Just like that. I lay awake all night, not dreaming of early retirement myself, but just...how? How does that even work?

"The next morning, I sprang out of bed and. I called him up ( Little later though ). "Teach me the process" I rasked. "Which process?" he asked. "The money process! The retire-at-38 process!" He chuckled and, being retired and all, said, "Kids are at school, come on over!" Suddenly, I started getting stomach ache. Called to my current boss ("Sorry, can't come in office today due to stomach ache") and I was speeding towards my former boss's house. The epic quest for financial freedom had begun. And it's still going on and I believe will stay with me forever.
Less is more. Simple is wise. That's my motto, and this site is my way of sharing it. I believe anyone can build wealth with disciplined, small investments—sooner or later.
About the name "An Idiot"... it's a totally original idea... (okay, fine, it's from the short film "One Idiot" – link below). Go watch it, it's good!
